In an interview with Tom Intégral, the Franco-Congolese singer Fally Ipupa proclaimed himself as one of the most romantic artists in the world.

Fally Ipupa is aware of the sensuality of his songs. The Franco-Congolese singer acknowledged the romanticism that emanates from his music in Tom Intégral’s NRJ Drink podcast. “I think I am one of the most romantic artists because I have managed to blend Lingala, French, and English,” the artist confessed.

According to him, it is because of the romance and sensuality he displays that he worships women during his concerts all over the world. Fally Ipupa Nsimba was born in Kinshasa, DRC. He is the son of Monique Bolutuli Mbo and Faustin Ebombo Ipupa, and has a brother, Boni, and two sisters, Tyna and Niclette.

The singer grew up in Bandal, a commune known for its nightlife, bars, and terraces. It was the home of the legendary Wenge Musica group, which fueled Fally’s desire to become a professional musician.

Coming from a Catholic family, Fally Ipupa began singing in his church choir. Despite his extreme stuttering and stammering, his shyness didn’t stop him from becoming one of the world’s best artists.
