Adama Bictogo, the candidate of the RHDP, displayed palpable determination as he arrived at the headquarters of the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI) in Abidjan on Sunday, July 23, 2023. Carrying innovative projects for Yopougon, he firmly believes in his victory in the municipal elections scheduled for Saturday, September 2, 2023.
“I do not concern myself with alliances from other political groups. My main concern is to meet the expectations of the people of Yopougon. That’s why I will present a communal project before the elections, which will transform Yopougon, and that is what matters,” declared the RHDP candidate.
Indeed, the deputy from Agboville, on a mission for President Alassane Ouattara’s party, embodies the diversity and various political sensitivities of Côte d’Ivoire. He highlights the diversified composition of his electoral team, which reflects all aspects of the country.
For him, the Yopougon municipality must play a key role in strengthening social cohesion in Côte d’Ivoire, thus demonstrating his determination to aid in local development and national unity. For this reason, he plans to present his communal plan before the elections to bring about change in Yopougon and address the needs of its residents.
“I am the candidate who represents the plural expression of Côte d’Ivoire and especially Yopougon. That is why we will win in Yopougon because I am not only the ideal candidate for development, but I am also the candidate of Unity and Social Cohesion in Yopougon,” he states with conviction.
In this municipal election, he will be facing Dia Houphouët of the PDCI-RDA and Michel Gbagbo of the PPA-CI. Adama Bictogo considers this situation as an opportunity to seize, as both opposition parties have decided to run independently.
