At the initiative of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Guinea, the well-known Guinean figure Grand P is visiting Saudi Arabia. He is part of a group of journalists invited to explore the country.
For the past few days, Guinean star Grand P has been staying in Saudi Arabia. The trip was made upon the invitation of Dr. Fahad Eid Alrshidy, the Kingdom’s Ambassador, extended to a contingent of nine Guinean journalists to afford them the opportunity to discover the specifics of Saudi Arabia.
The Guinean delegation took advantage of their stay to visit several major institutions in Riyadh, including the premises of the national television station, under the auspices of the Saudi Minister of Media. Grand P shared the experiences and images of this visit on his social media channels.
However, a recent post by Grand P, in which he appears in ihram (pilgrim’s garb) on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, captioned: “By divine grace. Departure for Mecca and Medina,” has sparked mixed reactions among his online community.
They question the appropriateness of his visit to the holy sites of Islam, particularly noting that it is prohibited to enter these sacred places with dyed hair.
