In addition to his gold record, which he received last weekend at the Abidjan Exhibition Park in Port-Bouët, Ivorian singer Didi B has received a big gift from an Ivorian Member of Parliament.
Didi B has been in good favor for the past few weeks. Shortly after returning from his vacation with his wife Saraï, he was awarded a gold record by the mayor of Bingerville. The precious accolade was presented to him on stage at the Abidjan Exhibition Park in Port-Bouët by the Minister of Culture and Francophonie, Françoise Remark, during Didi B’s performance at the “Concert of the 3 worlds.”
The day after this distinction, the rapper embarked on a tour to meet with some Ivorian personalities, including the commissioner of QITAA, Ibrahim Fama Diabaté, who is also the CEO of Nord-Sud University, and the President of the National Assembly, Adama Bictogo.
“It’s my way of saying thank you to the people for all their support, because above all, I am a child of Bingerville,” said the former member of the Kiff No Beat rap group during this tour of recognition.
Didi B also visited the Deputy Mayor of Bingerville, Issouf Doumbia, accompanied by his father, Abou Bomou. Impressed by his efforts and proud of the artist’s journey, the deputy offered him a 500 m2 plot of land with ACD (property registration).
