The funeral services for Mgr. Marcel Agboton will begin with a novena of masses, scheduled from September 26 to October 4, 2023, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Porto-Novo.
On Wednesday, October 4, a body-present mass will be held at Notre Dame des Miséricordes in Cotonou at 8:00 PM. On the same day, another body-present mass will take place at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Porto-Novo starting at 10:00 PM.
The following day, October 5, at 7:00 AM, there will be a gathering and tributes from officials, followed by the funeral service at 8:30 AM, a requiem mass, and the burial at the Cathedral of Notre Dame de l’Immaculée Conception in Porto-Novo.
