Nigerian director, De General, has revealed that he exclusively dates 18-year-old girls.
In a video shared online, De General stated that he generally prefers to avoid the “unnecessary pressure” that older women put on their boyfriends. The Nigerian director expressed concern about the trend where 20-year-old women exert so much pressure on their partners to marry them.
He questioned the motive behind rushed marriages and asked if these women understood the consequences of their actions. According to him, he only dates younger women because they are not in a hurry to walk down the aisle, and when they reach the age of 24, he breaks up with them before they start pushing him to commit or get married.
“What’s all this about 24-year-old girls? You all just want to get married. You start pressuring your boyfriend to get married. Aren’t you afraid? That’s why I date 18-year-old girls. Before they reach 24, I break up,” he said.
