This Thursday, the coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, unveiled his list of selected players for the two upcoming matches for Les Bleus during the September international break. A rather conventional group.

During the upcoming international break, France will face Ireland (September 9th) in the Euro 2024 qualifiers and Germany (September 12th) in a prestigious friendly match at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund. As these two fixtures approach, the French national team coach, Didier Deschamps, has revealed his list of selected players for the occasion.

A conventional list, featuring familiar faces such as Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid), Ousmane Dembélé (PSG), Olivier Giroud (AC Milan), and Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid). It goes without saying, but the leader and captain of Les Bleus, Kylian Mbappé, has of course been called up.

Notably, Lucas Hernandez makes a return after a 9-month absence due to a long injury layoff resulting from a torn ACL in the opening match of the 2022 World Cup against Australia. On the other hand, as previously announced, Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kanté have not been selected. Didier Deschamps has also decided to do without Moussa Diaby despite the absence of Christopher Nkunku. Kolo Muani and Marcus Thuram have been preferred instead.
