Congolese artist Lokua Kanza officially got married to a white woman on Saturday, July 22, 2023, in France.

Lokua Kanza’s official wedding took place in a private ceremony and was unveiled on social media by Jonathan Bilari, the MC of the wedding ceremony. In a post on his Facebook page, Jonathan Bilari can be seen posing alongside the Congolese artist Lokua Kanza and his wife.

Apparently, Lokua Kanza married a white woman whose identity has not been revealed yet. Pascal Lokua Kanza was born on April 21, 1958, in Bukavu, in the province of Kivu in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

He is the eldest of eight children raised by a father of the Mongo ethnicity and a Rwandese Tutsi mother. In 1964, the family moved to Kinshasa, where they lived in a comfortable neighborhood until Pascal’s father, a ship’s captain, passed away.

His acoustic music, gentle and melancholic, has challenged prevailing stereotypes about Congolese rumbas and soukouss.
