Just like other parts of your body, feet also require good hygiene. However, many people make this mistake that should be avoided.

While you may find it easier to find your ideal skincare routine for a radiant complexion, you might struggle to find the ideal care and practices for your feet. Yet, the latter can be a source of trouble, whether it’s excessive sweating, dry and cracked heels, or simply figuring out how often to trim your nails and the best way to do it. Your feet also require care tailored to their needs.

Indeed, when it comes to hygiene, there are basic things to master to keep your feet in good condition. It all starts in the shower. “It is important to always wash between the toes with soap, and also make sure to dry this area thoroughly,” explains Sandrine Bergere Morant, a podiatry expert. So, avoid hastily drying your feet and take the time to address between each toe to prevent leaving any moisture. This will notably reduce the risk of developing fungal infections.

She also emphasizes the importance of cleaning your feet morning and evening. If you suffer from excessive foot perspiration, the podiatry expert recommends using a deodorizing cleansing gel.
