The manager of the England national team, Gareth Southgate, announced his list of selected players for the upcoming matches in September this Thursday. In addition to the usual core players, two new faces are making their debut.

As the international break approaches, national teams are unveiling their lists one by one for their upcoming fixtures. Following teams like France and Germany, it’s now England’s turn to reveal its squad of players for their two matches, notably against Ukraine on September 9th in the Euro qualifiers, and then an exhibition match against Scotland on the 12th.

For this occasion, manager Gareth Southgate has unveiled a list of 26 players. Two new faces are making their appearance in this selection. Eddie Nketiah, who shone as the top scorer among the Under-21 team with 16 goals in 17 appearances, receives his first call-up to the senior team at the age of 24.

Similarly, Levi Colwill, whose remarkable performances during his loan spell at Brighton last year garnered admiration. Despite his complicated situation at Manchester United, Harry Maguire remains a consistent figure in the team.
