Cameroonian promoters are on the trail of Ivorian rapper Didi B in connection with a case involving 5 million francs that his team allegedly received for a performance.
Amidst a conflict with Booba due to his association with French artists that the Duke of Boulogne no longer associates with, Ivorian rapper Didi B is now embroiled in a scam controversy.
According to reports, the artist supposedly received 5 million CFA francs for a performance in Cameroon but failed to fulfill the contract. Didi B was scheduled to perform at an event on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the Palais des congrès in Yaoundé.
According to the organizers of the “Crazy Time” event, all necessary arrangements were made to ensure the artist’s optimal conditions. These included booking a 5-star hotel and renting a luxury vehicle. Furthermore, the event promoters stated that Didi B’s manager, Diba Diallo, received an advance of 5 million CFA francs from the agreed fee of 8 million CFA francs.
However, Didi B did not show up for the event. The organizers expressed their frustration with the artist’s team. A wanted notice with photos of the payments sent was even posted on social media. Currently, neither the rapper nor his team has responded to these allegations of fraud to provide their version of events or offer any clarifications.
