The authorities of the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Nation (CNSP) continue to engage in discussions with various community structures. On Wednesday, August 2, they met with representatives of civil society.
A meeting of truths between the coup leaders and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). Women’s organizations were also present. For about 2 hours, members of civil society exchanged views with the CNSP president.
Various concerns of the population were presented to the military. Both parties particularly discussed the need to preserve the integrity of the territory.
The participants in the meeting were reassured about the physical and moral integrity of the deposed president. As his Prime Minister had indicated, Mohamed Bazoum is doing well. This was also evident during his exchanges with Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby.
The authorities of the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Nation have invited the population to continue their normal activities.
