The Ivorian music group Magic System continues to engage in social initiatives. After constructing several schools in different cities in Côte d’Ivoire, the quartet inaugurated another one in the village of Kouadio-Kouman on Friday, November 10, 2023.
For quite some time now, Magic System has been actively involved in social projects through its foundation. With the aim of providing better education for children in Côte d’Ivoire, the group, through its foundation, has donated a primary school with six classrooms to the village of Kouadio-Kouman in the Tanda department. This remarkable achievement was inaugurated on Friday, November 10, 2023.
This great news was shared by Asalfo, the leader of the group, on his Facebook page on Saturday, November 11, 2023. “Thanks to the partnership between the Magic System and Lonaci foundations, the dream has become a reality for the small village of Kouadio-Kouman where children used to travel 6 km per day between home and school. Now, thanks to the Magic System Public Primary School, the children of this small village will be only 50 meters away from their ‘temple’,” wrote Asalfo.
He continued on the foundation’s page, reiterating his commitment to education. “Equipped with six classrooms, this school is the result of the partnership between us and the Lonaci Foundation. This action is in line with our shared vision of providing rapid access to education for children in Côte d’Ivoire, which is the foundation of all development,” he emphasized.
In conclusion, he expressed his gratitude to their partners: the Lonaci Foundation and its Chairman, as well as the Director-General of Lonaci, Dramane Coulibaly, who was present for the occasion. He also thanked the administrative, traditional, and religious authorities, as well as the Mayor of Tanda, Amadou Koné, who warmly welcomed the Magic System group. Following Kouadio-Kouman in Tanda, the Magic System Foundation and its partner, Lonaci, will go to Brobo and Badikaha for the inauguration of another primary school.
It’s worth mentioning that a few years ago, the Gaous magiciens also provided a maternity ward for the village of Loulo in the M’Bengué department. And prior to that, during a tour called the “Magic Social Tour,” Goudé, Manadja, Tino, and A’Salfo donated medical equipment to the general hospital of Daoukro and the health center of Pepressou.
