The President of GPS has appointed Professor Franklin Nyamsi, former Special Advisor to Guillaume Soro, as Coordinator of the Training and Books Commission within their political party.
Guillaume Soro, who is in exile and has been deprived of his civil rights in Côte d’Ivoire after being sentenced to 20 years in prison, has appointed his closest collaborator, Franklin Nyamsi, who is currently in tense relations with the French government.
In a tweet, Franklin Nyamsi expressed his gratitude to the former Prime Minister of Côte d’Ivoire for the renewed trust. “On this Sunday, July 23, 2023, I would like to solemnly thank President Guillaume Kigbafori Soro, President of the GPS (Generations and Peoples Solidarity) Movement of Côte d’Ivoire, for the trust he has placed in me by appointing me Coordinator of the Training and Books Commission of GPS,” he said, adding, “This entails the coordination, along with several of our valiant comrades, of the School of Leaders of our movement.”
As a reminder, Franklin Nyamsi Wa Kamerun, born in 1972 in Cameroon, is an associate professor of philosophy and a doctor from the University of Lille 3. Furthermore, he has published numerous books in the fields of philosophy, literature, and political analysis.
