The DECO announced on July 24th that 109,166 candidates were admitted for the 2023 Baccalaureate (BAC) session in Côte d’Ivoire, representing a national admission rate of 32.09%, compared to 30.78% in 2022.
A total of 340,213 candidates took part in the 2023 Baccalaureate examination. Out of this number, 109,166 were admitted, resulting in a success rate of 32.09%, compared to 30.78% in the 2022 session and 29.24% in the 2021 session.
Success rate by gender Out of the 162,170 female candidates, 50,181 were admitted, making up 30.94% of the total, compared to 31.04% in 2022 and 28.78% in 2021. As for male candidates, out of the 178,043 who participated, 58,985 were admitted, accounting for 33.13%, compared to 30.56% in 2022 and 29.60% in 2021.
2023 Technical BAC Out of the 32,157 candidates registered for the Technical Baccalaureate, 10,601 were accepted, resulting in a proportion of 32.97%, compared to 27.32% in 2022 and 28.28% in 2021.
