In a statement released on Friday, July 28, 2023, the Commissioner-General of the Togolese Revenue Office (OTR) announced the implementation of the pilot phase of interconnecting the customs computer systems of Ghana and Togo. This represents a significant progress in facilitating cross-border trade. This technological advancement relies on the centralized Sydonia World platform, which aims to efficiently process import, export, and transit declarations.
