“Happiness is something people seek to find, but what defines happiness can vary from person to person. Typically, happiness is an emotional state characterized by feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment, and accomplishment. While happiness has many different definitions, it is often described as involving positive emotions and life satisfaction,” Coco Emilia attempted to explain.
Moreover, she delved into the true meaning of happiness according to psychologists and other specialists in the social sciences of happiness. “When most people talk about the true meaning of happiness, they may be talking about what they feel in the present moment or referring to a more general sense of how they feel about life, because happiness tends to be such a broad term,” the influencer wrote.
According to Coco Emilia, psychologists and other specialists in the social sciences of happiness generally use the term “subjective well-being” when talking about this emotional state. However, she noted, “Subjective well-being tends to focus on an individual’s overall personal feelings about their life in the present.”
