Lil Tay, also known as Claire Eileen Qi Hope, a Canadian, and her brother, have passed away suddenly under unknown circumstances.
Indeed, the family of the young Canadian influencer Lil Tay, whose real name is Claire Hope, announced her death in an Instagram post. “We have no words to describe our unbearable loss and indescribable pain. During this time of immense grief, we ask for privacy as we mourn this overwhelming loss, as the circumstances of Claire and her brother’s death are still under investigation,” reads the statement on her Instagram account.
In 2018, the young influencer gained fame by posting videos where she flaunted her money, accompanied by sometimes crude remarks, which raised questions from internet users. Nearly 220,000 people followed her on YouTube, and the two videos she posted received 1.6 and 2.6 million views respectively.
