Ivory Coast meets the Democratic Republic of the Congo this Wednesday evening, February 7, 2024, for the semi-final of the 34th Edition of the CAN. But a few hours before the match, President Alassane Ouattara sent a message of support to the Elephants.
The Elephants of Ivory Coast are set to face the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo on the evening of this Wednesday, February 7, 2024, as part of the Africa Nations Cup (CAN) 2023 semi-finals, at the Olympique Alassane Ouattara stadium of Ebimpé. Some time before kickoff, Alassane Ouattara, the President of the Republic, sent a heartfelt message of encouragement to the players.
In his message, which is very brief but meaningful, the President let the team and coach Emerse Faé know that the whole nation stands with them. “Go Elephants! All of Ivory Coast is with you!” can be read on the President’s official channels.
As a reminder, the match between Elephants and Leopards is scheduled for 9 PM GMT+1 at the Olympique Alassane Ouattara Stadium of Ebimpé.
