The second leg of the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup begins this Thursday and will end on Sunday, August 27th. 32 teams will compete for the 16 qualifying spots for the next round.
After being defeated by FUS Rabat (0-3) last week in Morocco, Loto Popo is seeking qualification for the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup this weekend. The vice-champions of Benin will host their Moroccan counterparts this Sunday. This match is part of the second leg of the first preliminary round.
A tough challenge for Gaston Zossou’s team, as they need to win by a four-goal difference to stay in the CAF competition. It’s also a nearly impossible mission for JKU SCZ, who will play against Singida Big Stars FC, having lost 4-1 in the first leg. It’s worth noting that 32 teams will compete over four days for the 16 qualifying spots for the second preliminary round.
