The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the complete and official list of referees who will officiate at the CAF 2023. The list was published on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
Just a few weeks before the start of the prestigious football event, which will be held in Côte d’Ivoire, the complete list of referees who will be officiating at the matches has been revealed. The Confederation of African Football has published a list of sixty-eight (68) individuals, including 26 central referees, 30 assistant referees, and 12 VAR referees.
It is worth noting that out of the 68 referees selected for this 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, six (06) are women distributed across the three categories. One in the central referees category, two (02) among the assistant referees, and three (03) in the VAR category for goal line technology referees.
As a reminder, the Africa Cup of Nations (CAF 2023) will take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024 in Côte d’Ivoire. Five (05) beautiful cities have been selected to host the football teams, including Bouaké, San-Pédro, Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, and Korhogo.
