He shared this through a post on his X account (formerly Twitter). “Diddy told me I would win a Grammy if I let him do it… But this guy is nothing but a petty scam artist,” wrote Burna Boy.
Although the message has since been deleted from his X account (formerly known as Twitter), it garnered attention before its removal.
It appears that the relationship between Burna Boy and P. Diddy, which was once collaborative and successful, culminating in a Grammy Award win in 2021, has soured. Rising tensions between the two artists have led Burna Boy to distance himself from the collaboration. The two stars are now embroiled in a whirlwind of sharp exchanges online, especially following Burna Boy’s failure to secure a second Grammy nomination, which P. Diddy has openly mocked.
In the current climate, it’s also worth noting that this isn’t the first time P. Diddy has faced serious allegations: a previous complaint had been filed against him for gang rape, and he now faces a new accusation brought forth by a music producer.
