All tutorials and educational activities are suspended until further notice on the campus of the University of Abomey Calavi.
No tutorials, no educational activities at the University of Abomey Calavi from September 25th to September 29th. The decision comes from Professor Félicien Avléssi, the rector of this university center.
“All tutorials and other educational activities are suspended from September 25th to September 29th, 2023,” reads the memorandum number 417-2023/UAV/SG/VR-RU/SA dated Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, signed by Professor Félicien Avléssi and a copy of which has reached the Beninwebtv editorial office.
This suspension of activities is imposed by the hosting of the VIIIth Symposium on Sciences, Cultures, and Technologies at the University of Abomey Calavi, which will take place from September 25th to September 29th, 2023.
During this period, the heads of academic affairs and the units of training and research at the University of Abomey Calavi are tasked with organizing the suspension of educational activities and the modalities for any makeup sessions.
The VIIIth Symposium on Sciences, Cultures, and Technologies will thus bring together in Abomey Calavi several specialists in these fields, teacher-researchers, policymakers, and students around the theme of “valorization of indigenous knowledge as a guarantee of sustainable development.”
