From now on, the costs associated with impounding will no longer be settled at the Police Stations. These payments will now be made to the Public Treasury.

The procedure for paying impound fees for vehicles has undergone a significant change. Now, fees associated with an impound resulting from a traffic violation must be paid to the Public Treasury instead of at police services.

Under the directives expressed in communication number 01502/2024/D/MEF/DC/SGM/DGTCP/DR/SGCR/ dated March 2024 and in the letter number 0375/DGPR//DALF/SBC/SA dated March 22, 2024, users must pay their fines directly at the Treasury windows, thus eliminating direct cash payment to police officers. The concerned directorates have been duly informed of this new regulation and have been instructed to implement it without delay.
