An operation of road checks launched on Wednesday, August 9th in Cotonou resulted in the police intercepting several vehicles.
Two, three, and four-wheeled vehicles were intercepted this Wednesday in Cotonou. This is the result of a road check operation carried out by the officers of the Tokplégbé Police Station at the Abattoir intersection.
These vehicles were intercepted for various offenses, including lack of administrative documents, failure to wear helmets, overloading, and lack of license plates.

The owners of the seized vehicles are required to regularize their administrative situation before retrieving their vehicle. They will also have to pay fines to the treasury and towing fees.
