According to the minister’s statement, several citizens who invest in electronic currencies with the promise of exceptional profits have experienced losses of their savings.
The authority is cautioning the public about the risks they face by paying attention to numerous advertisements and promises surrounding cryptocurrencies.
In his statement, the Minister of State for Economy and Finance in Benin urged the population to exercise caution so as not to fall into the traps of financial scammers that are prevalent on social media platforms.
