A road accident occurred early on Monday, August 7, 2023, in Pèbè, a locality in the Kandi Commune.
An early morning road accident resulted in around twenty injuries and one fatality. The accident was caused by a bus belonging to a Nigerian transport company.
According to the information available, the bus was speeding when the driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing the bus to veer into the ravine.

The overturned bus resulted in one fatality and around ten injured passengers who were taken to healthcare centers.
