The Benin Pro League will be suspended for a period of two weeks due to the Independence Day celebration on August 1st. The announcement was made by the President of the Transitory Professional League (Lpt), Clarisse Hounzali Houngbédji, through a statement addressed to the presidents of the professional clubs.
According to the official statement, the championship will be suspended after the matches of the third round played on Saturday, July 22, 2023. It will resume on Saturday, August 5, 2023, with the matches of the fourth round.
