In anticipation of a possible draw to select the new executive secretary of Ouidah’s town hall, the mayor has appointed an interim for the position.
On Monday, August 21, 2023, the Executive Secretary of Ouidah’s town hall was suspended indefinitely following a municipal council meeting. A few days after the suspension, he was replaced by a municipal official.
According to information from the investigator, a municipal official has been designated to serve as the interim. Thus, the interim Executive Secretary of Ouidah’s town hall is named Honoré Dèhouénagnon. Prior to his appointment to assume the interim role, he held the position of Director of IT Services.
Recall that the reasons for the suspension of the now-former executive secretary, Afizou Mama-Sanni, have not been officially disclosed.
