Former deputy Rémy Ahouadi has passed away. His death was announced on Monday, August 28, 2023, by Bip fm.
The former member of the Party for Democratic Renewal (PRD) has lost one of its former parliamentarians. Rémy Ahouadi, that’s who he was, represented the “choco choco” colors in the 6th electoral district.
Trained as a financier, the deceased had been elected as a parliamentarian in the 6th electoral district on the PRD’s list, for the second legislature of 1995-1999.
Beyond his political career, Rémy Ahouadi was also a great humanitarian. He was known for his philanthropic commitment, his willingness to assist the most vulnerable, and his support for social causes.
His generosity and altruism touched the lives of many people, making him a role model for future generations. Thomas Ogoubiyi also said that the deceased was a “resilient and sociable man.”
