The top exhibitors of the tenth edition of the CTN Barbecue, who participated in the “Golden Barbecue Moov Money 2023” challenge, were awarded on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. The ceremony took place at the premises of the General Directorate of Moov Africa Benin in Cotonou.
The premises of the General Directorate of Moov Africa Benin hosted the award ceremony for the winners of the “Golden Barbecue Moov Money 2023” challenge on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
According to Prince Viode, the Marketing Manager of Moov Money, this afternoon’s ceremony is the result of a challenge set up by Moov Money before the start of the Cotonou Barbecue, aimed at motivating subscribers and festival-goers to make payments through Moov Money after purchases during the 12 days of the gastronomic festival. “We established this challenge to motivate them to give their best and also to participate in the dynamic that Moov Money is implementing,” said Prince Viode.
Four participants were awarded during this ceremony, namely the restaurants Chez Chiro, Chez Dagan, Royal Panini’s, and 3443 Resto Ebeneza. They respectively received prizes including a 510-liter capacity freezer, a 54-inch Plasma Screen television, state-of-the-art routers with two months of unlimited connection, and Moov Money gadgets.
In addition to the participants, ten hostesses who worked with the first two winners were also rewarded. They received an amount of 30,000 CFA francs, with 20,000 CFA francs deposited into their Moov Money account and 10,000 CFA francs in communication credit. “When we talk about restaurants, there is a whole team (hostesses, saleswomen) that works during the festival. So the hostesses also received their share of the prize. The goal is to reward all those who participated in achieving the results we had in this edition,” added the Marketing Manager of Moov Money.
Winners express their gratitude to Moov Money The winners did not hesitate to express their gratitude and joy. For Chirelle Assongba, the Promoter of Chez Chiro Restaurant, the 1st winner of the Golden Barbecue Moov Money 2023 challenge, the emotion is quite strong. “It’s true that we were quite confident at the beginning, but when we received the announcement that we won the first prize, our joy was truly immense. We are really delighted and content and hope that the collaboration will be even more fruitful in the future,” added Chirelle Assongba.
“We thank Moov Money for giving us this great gift. We were indeed at the Cotonou Barbecue festival and did our best, but we did not expect this from Moov Money,” said the promoters of Chez Dagan Restaurant, the 2nd winner of the Golden Barbecue Moov Money 2023 challenge. The promoters of Royal Panini’s, despite being newcomers to the festival, managed to make their mark.
“It was a wonderful experience. And we thank Moov Money for sparing no effort to support us and add more energy to the festival,” said the promoters of Royal Panini’s, the 3rd winner of the Golden Barbecue Moov Money 2023 challenge.
