Four alleged cybercriminals arrested in the town of Avrankou. Money and various items were seized during the operation.
Once again, suspected cybercriminals are in the custody of the Central Office for the Repression of Cybercrime (OCRC). Following a forceful operation carried out in Atchoukpa, in the town of Avrankou, a total of 04 individuals have been apprehended by the police.
These 04 individuals are suspected of cyber fraud. The search conducted during their apprehension allowed the police to seize compromising items that reinforce their suspicions.
Police officers have confiscated internet connectivity tools, computers, and even cash.
Currently in custody, the 04 alleged cybercriminals will soon be presented to the Special Prosecutor of the Court for the Repression of Economic Offenses and Terrorism (CRIET).
