The new Secretary-General of the Constitutional Court, Mrs. Isabelle Aïssi Djonnon, will take the oath on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
During the special plenary session on Thursday, September 21, Mrs. Sérapie Isabelle Aïssi Djonnon Djato will officially assume her duties. She was appointed as the Secretary-General of the Constitutional Court during the Council of Ministers meeting on Wednesday, September 13th.
She is succeeding Gilles Badet, who has held the position since 2016. Proposed by the new president of the high court, Professor Dorothé Sossa, Mrs. Sérapie Isabelle Aïssi Djonnon Djato will be formally inaugurated into her new role. The swearing-in ceremony, which will take place in the Mgr Isidore de Souza courtroom, will be followed by the handover of responsibilities between her and Gilles Badet, the outgoing Secretary-General.
