A group of 7 suspected cybercriminals has been caught in the nets of the Central Office for the Repression of Cybercrime (OCRC) in Bohicon.A special operation led by the commissioner of the Central Office for the Repression of Cybercrime based on intelligence led to the arrest of 7 cybercriminals.The operation took place on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, in the crossroads city of Bohicon. The search that followed their arrest allowed Commissioner Sokou’s team to seize 3 vehicles, several motorcycles, connection kits, smartphones, and many other items.Detained in the local police station, the 7 suspected cybercriminals will be presented to the special prosecutor of the Court for the Repression of Economic Crimes and Terrorism in the coming hours for further proceedings.
