Three young boys took advantage of their vacation time to engage in reprehensible acts. They were caught in the act of stealing a metal door. The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in the Ladji Farani neighborhood, located in the second district of Parakou.
According to Fraternité Fm, the three boys were in the midst of their theft operation in the morning when they were spotted by other children who alerted adults. The culprits had entered a house with the intention of stealing a metal door and electrical wires.
Upon the children’s alert, one of the three boys fled, but the others were apprehended by members of the community. After giving them a small punishment, they were handed over to the police. According to witnesses, these children are not new to such activities. One of them had failed his BEPC exam in the June 2023 session.
