Two presumed terrorists incapacitated during the night of Tuesday, August 22nd, to Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023. The incident occurred in a locality in Karimama, northeastern Benin, in the Alibori department.
Two unidentified armed individuals were caught off guard by the Defense and Security Forces (DSF) as they were allegedly about to attack the residence of a local official. According to Bip Fm, the Beninese military did not allow the assailants time to carry out their plan.
The intervention of the Defense and Security Forces led to the neutralization of the two individuals who were planning an attack to disrupt the peace and tranquility of the population. Thanks to a swift and coordinated action, the army was able to put an end to this imminent threat.
