Less used towards the end of last season at Arsenal, Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has given his agreement for a transfer to Juventus this summer.
Heading to Italy for Thomas Partey? Rumored to be leaving this summer, Arsenal’s midfielder is attracting interest from Juventus Turin. The Bianconeri are reportedly already in negotiations with the Ghanaian international for a move to Piedmont before the end of the summer transfer window. Less used towards the end of last season, the Black Star also does not see his future in London and has reportedly given his approval to join the Italian club this summer, according to information from Sky Italia.
Now, the giants of Serie A must convince the London club to let go of their player. An offer is expected to be submitted in the coming days, even if the struggling Piedmontese club probably needs to sell one or two players to finance this transaction.
However, nothing is certain about Partey’s future at Arsenal, especially as his midfield teammate Granit Xhaka has also left the English club during this summer period. As a reminder, Thomas Partey joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid in the Spanish La Liga for a sum of £45 million in the summer of 2020.
