In recent weeks, several rumors have circulated about Talisca’s imminent departure from Al Nassr to make room for the team’s star signings. In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate clarified the situation.
“To all Al Nassr fans who love this club, stop supporting fake news. I have renewed until 2026, there is no reason for me to leave the club. I am not negotiating with anyone, the club has no intention of letting me go, because there is no reason,” wrote the Brazilian.
Talisca thus denies the information from Sport and also announces the extension of his contract. As a reminder, according to Sport, the Brazilian was supposed to be sacrificed to make way for the participation of Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, Seko Fofana, Marcelo Brozovic, and Alex Telles in league matches, where the limit is 8 allowed foreign players. This would also apply to Asian Champions League matches, where only 5 foreign players are permitted.
In his post on X, Talisca adds: “And the numbers don’t lie. I am happy here, I don’t want to go anywhere, I have a beautiful story with this club. When I came to the club, I faced all difficulties, don’t forget that. I am not going anywhere, I have no intention of leaving here, I am happy in this country with my family! We are together. I love you all. Let’s support the team at the stadium tomorrow, that’s what matters most.”
Since joining Al Nassr, Talisca has become a true star of the Saudi Pro League. Like his previous season, where he scored 20 goals in 23 league matches. And the Brazilian intends to continue his career with the Saudi club.
