Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr continued their preparations for the new season on Tuesday, with a friendly match against PSG in Japan. Despite being dominated, the Saudi Arabian team managed to keep a clean sheet against the Parisians and secure a goalless draw (0-0). The runners-up of the last edition of the Saudi Pro League even had a chance to score at the end of the first half, but CR7’s shot was saved by Donnarumma.
As usual, after his team’s match, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner posted a message on his social media. He expressed pride in his team’s performance, saying, “Good performance against a strong team. Pre-season preparations continue! Fantastic welcome from the fans here in Japan,” wrote the Real Madrid and Manchester United legend on Twitter. He accompanied his post with several photos, illustrating some of his actions during the match.
For their next outing, Al Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo will face Inter Milan, the European vice-champion, on July 27th. As a reminder, the Saudi team had already played two matches before heading to Japan, where they were convincingly defeated by Celta Vigo (0-5) and Benfica (4-1).
