On their way back to Burkina Faso from Ivory Coast, media personalities Aïcha Trembler and DJ Domi were involved in a severe car accident. Singer and producer Imilo Lechanceux shared an update on their condition on his Facebook page.
Burkina Faso social media celebrity, Aïcha Trembler, along with DJ Domi, met with a car accident while they were returning from various appearances on Ivorian TV shows, including “Magnific CAN” on La 3 and “Willy à Midi” on Life TV. Near Houndé, their vehicle veered off the road in a turn.
Thankfully, Aïcha Trembler and her two dancers were more shaken than hurt. However, the health of DJ Domi and the manager Zulu was more concerning. They were initially taken to Houndé hospital for emergency treatment, and later that evening, the entire team was transferred to the hospital in Bobo Dioulasso for comprehensive care.
Imilo Lechanceux, the singer and producer working with Aïcha Trembler and DJ Domi, posted this news on his Facebook page late on Thursday, February 8th, to reassure the many worried fans.
“Good evening, family!!! We will keep you updated on the situation regarding the accident that affected Aicha Trembler’s and DJ Domi’s staff. The artists and their staff are on their way to Bobo where some will undergo further examinations…Rest assured that we are following this situation minute by minute and you will be informed at the end of each step…”, he wrote.
He also expressed his gratitude to all those who provided assistance and continue to keep them in their prayers. “Thank you immensely for your expressions of compassion…Thanks to all the good Samaritans who provided assistance to the team and to the entire medical teams of Houndé…Thank you all for your prayers,” he emphasized.
