This evening, Tunisia, nicknamed “The Eagles of Carthage,” will begin their Africa Cup of Nations 2023 campaign against Namibia. The match is set to take place at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium at 6 PM local time (GMT+1).
As one of the title contenders, Jalel Kadri’s Tunisian team is pressured to live up to their reputation, especially in light of some of the surprises already seen in the tournament with established teams like Ghana and Nigeria stumbling. However, the Namibian team, considered the underdogs of the group, will attempt to cause an upset by securing at least a draw against the mighty Carthaginians.
