The accolades continue for members of the Côte d’Ivoire national football team. Franck Kessié and Oumar Diakité were honored by Adama Bictogo in Yopougon.

The Elephants, who recently triumphed at the 34th African Cup of Nations (CAN), are still basking in praise. Following the tributes from President Alassane Ouattara, it was the turn of Adama Bictogo, the mayor of the municipality of Yopougon and the President of the National Assembly, to step in.

In a gesture of recognition towards Franck Kessié and Oumar Diakité, who hail from his municipality, Adama Bictogo awarded them the title of “Honorary Citizens” of Yopougon, celebrating them for their contribution to the national team.
