After a lackluster season with only two goals in 36 appearances, Divock Origi is expected to leave AC Milan this summer. The Belgian international has been excluded from Rossoneri training.
Divock Origi’s Italian adventure has been far from successful. Having arrived at AC Milan last summer from Liverpool, the Belgian international has never managed to establish himself with the Rossoneri. His record with the Milan club shows 38 matches with only 2 goals. These mediocre statistics could hasten the departure of the Red Devil by the end of August.
The former Liverpool player is no longer part of coach Stefano Pioli’s plans. According to reporter Antonio Vitiello, an AC Milan specialist, the 28-year-old player has now been excluded from training with the Rossoneri. The club and the player are thus seeking a solution; Saudi Arabia had been previously mentioned.
Divock Origi has failed to make an impact on Milan’s gameplay, quickly finding himself in a backup role and not seizing his chance when given the starting position. On the international front, he has not been called up since March 2022 for friendly matches and has not scored a goal for the Belgian national team since… 2014.
