A few hours before the start of the Miss Supranational 2023 festivities, the representative of Ivory Coast, Yasmine Wognin, sent a message to the Ivorian people.
Yasmine Wognin, a second-year Master’s student in Business Law, was crowned “Miss Supranational” in Ivory Coast on May 7, 2023, in Abidjan. Currently, she is in Poland, specifically in the city of Krakow, to participate in the grand finale of this competition scheduled for Friday, July 14, 2023.
As the festivities begin, competing against 67 beauty queens from several countries around the world, the representative of Ivory Coast left a message for her fellow countrymen.
“I invite all of you to watch the live broadcast of the Miss Supranational finale on Friday, July 14, 2023. Starting at 6 p.m. on the YouTube channel ‘Miss and Mister Supranational Official,’ to support me so that together, we can make our beautiful country shine in this global competition,” she posted on her Facebook page.
The Ivorian candidate in this prestigious beauty contest was also the 1st runner-up in the Poro region at the Miss Ivory Coast 2022 pageant. At the age of 23, she became an orphan when her father passed away when she was 9 years old. Yasmine Wognin, who had a difficult childhood, intends to be a spokesperson for disadvantaged children.
As a reminder, the reigning Miss Supranational International 2022 is none other than Lalela Mswane from South Africa.
