In Ivory Coast, a man was found dead in his field in Ahorosso, a village in the Bongouanou Communal District, on Sunday, July 9, 2023.
According to medical sources, the man, whose identity has not been disclosed, died as a result of a stroke, as confirmed by the deceased’s uncle. “The body is at the Bongouanou morgue, and the funeral is scheduled for next Friday,” he added.
This family clarification puts an end to rumors attributing his death to a foreign community known for its gold mining activities. According to other information gathered from the village residents, police officers present in the village also visited the scene of the death on Sunday.
Recall that in the sub-prefecture of Kouto, a young man was found hanged on Sunday, May 15, 2022, near the primary school of the village. The villagers found the body suspended from a teak wood in the evening and alerted the administrative authorities, the gendarmerie of Boundiali and Kouto, as well as the village nurse.”
After medical examinations and investigations, it appears to be the body of a 25-year-old young man who held a BTS (Higher Technician’s Certificate). The reasons for his act, which saddened his family and the residents of the locality, have not been revealed.
