Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani made a striking statement regarding the succession of Alassane Ouattara in 2025. The Minister of State clearly stated that no member of the RHDP can claim to succeed the current President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.

During the inauguration of road works in Tanda (Northeast), on Monday, July 17, 2023, Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani responded to questions about the succession of Alassane Ouattara within the RHDP. According to the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Côte d’Ivoire, no party member has the capacity to succeed the current president. “Inouss said earlier that the president mentioned a half-dozen, but when I was asked the question ‘who will succeed President Alassane Ouattara?’ I said the number, it’s called Alassane Ouattara, number two, Alassane Ouattara, number three Alassane Ouattara, number four Alassane Ouattara, number five Alassane Ouattara, number six Alassane Ouattara because the work Alassane is doing, no one else can do it,” stated Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani.

Finally, the minister emphasized the need for the audience to offer prayers for Alassane Ouattara. “Let us pray to God that he has a long life and continues to lead us until the day he says, ‘Today, I am tired, I will appoint someone to take over.’ We are not in a hurry, we are with him. Rest assured, President Alassane is steering the ship well and we will never ask him to abandon us. It’s Alassane Ouattara, and whatever he tells us to do, we will do,” supported the President of the Gontoungo Regional Council.
