Free from any contract after his departure from Juventus Turin this summer, Juan Cuadrado remains in Italy. The versatile Colombian player has signed with Inter Milan this Thursday.
The Inter Milan club announced the news through a statement on their website. “Juan Cuadrado is a new player for Inter. The Colombian full-back has signed a contract with the Nerazzurri until June 30, 2024,” wrote the Nerazzurri. “Experience, great desire to win, and joy: these are the main characteristics of Juan Guillermo Cuadrado, born in Necoclí, Colombia, on May 26, 1988,” adds the Milanese publication.
Nicknamed “Vespa,” Cuadrado was trained in the ranks of Independiente Medellín, the team with which he made his debut in professional football. From Medellín, Cuadrado joined Udinese. With the Friulians, he played 24 matches over two years, securing a historic qualification for the Champions League in the second season.
He then spent two and a half seasons in Tuscany before moving to Chelsea. The Colombian won the first trophies of his career, the League Cup and the Premier League in 2015. However, Cuadrado struggled to find a place in England, so he moved to Juventus, where he spent eight years, winning a total of eleven trophies.
