Dagnoko Locéni, the Technical National Secretary in charge of Tourism and a member of Laurent Gbagbo’s party, passed away on Sunday at the General Hospital of Sinfra, as announced in a statement from PPA-CI.
According to Secretary-General Daman Adia Pickass, the Technical National Secretary of PPA-CI for Tourism was buried on the same day at the Sinfra cemetery in a purely Muslim tradition, in the presence of Vice President Lia Bi and a strong delegation of opposition party supporters.
The statement specifies that the 7th-day ceremony will take place on Sunday, July 23, at the Grand Mosque of Sinfra. In this time of great sadness, former Ivorian President Laurent Gbagbo, who leads the PPA-CI, invites the party leadership and members to reflect on the eternal rest of Dagnoko Locéni’s soul.
As a reminder, Dagnoko Locéni was appointed by Laurent Gbagbo as the Technical National Secretary in charge of Solidarity and Natural Disasters in November 2021.
