Kenya Clinches 2023 Women’s African Volleyball Championship: Kenya has emerged victorious in the 2023 Women’s African Volleyball Championship after securing a win in the final against Egypt (3-0), held on Thursday in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
And the winner of the 2023 Women’s African Volleyball Championship is Kenya. The Harambee Stars Women’s team claimed the title following their victory over Egypt in the final. Facing the Egyptian team in a match held in Yaoundé on Thursday, the Kenyan Volleyball players secured a 3-0 victory. A well-deserved success that has elevated them to the pinnacle of Africa.
As the host of the competition, Cameroon secured the third-place position on the podium. After being defeated by Kenya in the semi-finals, the Lionnes Indomptables won the bronze medal match against Rwanda. On the other hand, Morocco’s Lionnes de l’Atlas, who were defeated by their Cameroonian counterparts in the quarter-finals, claimed the 7th place by defeating Uganda (3-1).
